In the field of broadcasting, the main activities of the Communications Regulatory Agency in connection with program standards, complaints, and regulations in broadcasting include:
The processing and analysis of complaints and the processing of cases of possible violations of the Broadcasting Code of Practice and the Advertising and Sponsorship Code of Practice for Broadcasters in the programs of radio and television stations, in accordance with the procedures established by by-laws;
The leading and resolution of cases regarding program standards, and timely action on complaints and appeals;
The preparation of information on cases concerning program content for the Director General of the Communications Regulatory Agency;
The preparation and presentation of cases for the meetings of the Advisory Committee of the Director General of the Communications Regulatory Agency;
The development of draft regulations in the field of broadcasting and other applicable rules, as well as the supervision of implementation and compliance with rules;
The preparation of studies, proposals, and research in terms of introducing innovations in the field of program standards;
Activities on the harmonization of the regulatory framework in line with the European legal instruments and standards, as well as recommendations of the European Union, with the aim of joining European integrations, while respecting the current economic and social realities of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
The implementation of the relevant provisions of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Rulebook on Media Representation of Political Subjects in the electoral process and cooperation with the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
Keeping regular records of cases processed based on which appropriate regular or special reports are generated.
